No one ever notices my dimples,
...maybe that's because I have tons of them.
No one ever comments on how fast I go,
...maybe that's because I'm gone so quickly.
No one ever asks me for my name,
...maybe that's because it's written on me.
No one ever understands the pain I feel,
...maybe that's because I'm hit daily.
No one ever pays attention to what I want,
...maybe that's because her wants actually matter.
I'm yelled at, tossed around, and smacked repeatedly,
...but I don't have a choice.
After all, I'm just a Precept 4. The lady in pink
...is the one calling the shots.
Paula Creamer is awesome. I saw her when I went to the US Open last Saturday at Oakmont CC. I'm glad she finally won.
ReplyDeleteI played in a tournament today and I was going to write about the girl that I played with, but all I could think about was the golf ball's feelings so I decided to write about that.
I don't like the last "No one ever" stanza. It needs work.
Oh and Paula used to play with a pink Precept, but I can't find what kind she played with during the Open...so I just stuck with Precept.
Meg! That's amazing! How do you just come up with that stuff? I had no idea you were talking about a golf ball until I read your comment (but I also didn't know who Paula Creamer was). It's pretty interesting to read it both ways (not knowing what it was about and knowing lol) <3
